Q & O
(by Will Helfin & David Loti)

Q & O were best friends, don’t you know. Q was unemployed. O sold sci-fi books and toys. Q & O went to see a picture show. Q snuck in. O bought a ticket for his friend.

Q & O went on down to the record sto’. Q was lacking dough. O spotted him ten and fo’. Q bought a CD: Soup Named Stew’s Yes, No, Maybe. Q thought it was absurd—the worst noise that he’d ever heard.

The adventures of Q & O would make a boring TV show. The adventures of Q & O. Hey what do you know? Here come Q & O.

Q & O were best friends, don’t you know. Q & O became pals years ago. Q & O met one day at the comic sto’. Q & O. Wherever’s Q, O’s sure to go.

Q & O lived above the ice cream sto’. Q & O had a fish, and they named him Joe. Q & O entered him in the town dog show. Said he was from outer space; Joe ended up in third place.
